Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn in the right direction. Ronin Dex’s life wasn’t always easy living in downtown Detroit. Becoming orphaned at a young age, he bounced around from home to home. As the police keep catching up with him, Ronin’s foster parents lay down the law, but that doesn’t stop him from rebelling. Out on his own, Ronin finds himself face to face with an impossible decision. Should he follow his friends or should he do the right thing? With one chance left, Ronin is shipped to a small country town where everything he knows is gone. Isolated, this high schooler only knew how to make enemies. As his anger swelled each day, Ronin finally gave into his animal instincts and retaliated; showing everyone that laughed at him, he wasn’t afraid. Even though fighting isn’t allowed, Ronin finds himself in the principal’s office yet again, but this time fate has other plans for him.
