Pay over time with low monthly payments and receive every professional service that is required for publishing a book.
Within 24 hours after you submit a request for more information, you will receive an initial consultation with a BookFuel advisor. This is a get-to-know-you session, designed to help us learn more about your book, your goals, and where you are in the publishing process. If you wish to proceed with the Boost program, you will begin collaborating with our professionals on a series of different publishing projects.
Each step in the process is clearly delineated so that you are not overwhelmed, and we will not move forward without your approval on each and every project. The first project begins with editing and continues with print layout, cover design, ebook conversion, and distribution.
It’s your work and you’re in control. We’re just here to help you along the way.
Authors retain all rights and keep 100% net sales.
The services will be performed in the following order. Additional charges may apply depending on the complexity of your book and the level of customization required. Speak with an advisor if you have any questions.
1. Editing
2. Print Layout
3. Cover Design
4. eBook Conversion
5. Distribution
6. Ten Printed Books
Note: If you do not require all of the services listed above or do not see what you need, speak with an advisor for more options.
Finished? Yes.
Polished? No.
Since editing is the first step in the publishing process, we recommend that you have a completed manuscript. However, if you are close to being finished, we may be able to accommodate you. Just remember that the longer it takes to complete your manuscript, the longer it will take for us to begin your projects. Speak with an advisor if you are still writing to discuss your options.
On average, books are complete within 6-12 months. However we have seen them ready in as little as 3 months!
BookFuel will put your book up for sale as soon as it is finished. This means that while you are still making payments, you can be making royalties from your book sales.
The most important thing to remember is that your book is unique. We work as quickly as possible, but maintaining quality is our top priority. A few things that have a direct impact on how long the process takes include: the time it takes you to respond to and approve projects, total word count of your book, complexity of various designs needed, etc.
If you have a deadline you need to meet, be sure to let your advisor know during the initial consultation so we can ensure we stay on schedule.
Note: Your book can be published and available for sale before your payment term ends. We will distribute your book as soon as all of the services have been completed and approved by you.
