Flat color illustrations are mostly popular among children’s and business books. They feature clean, open space, crisp edges, bright colors and two-dimensional/flat illustrations.
A fully rendered illustration will include things like texture, shadows and depth. There is a noticeable difference between a flat color illustration and something that has been fully rendered.
