Alaina Holloway-Carpenter is an entrepreneur, author, and motivational speaker from Cleveland, Ohio. A hair stylist by trade, she has spent most of her career mentoring and uplifting women. In 2001, she founded I AM Enterprises, a non-profit organization which seeks to empower youth through mentorship, leadership workshops, and education. Alaina has mentored hundreds of youth in her hometown and in Atlanta, Georgia using unconventional methods to attract and transform troubled adolescents. Carpenter is the proud mother of two daughters, Lauren and Allyson, college students excelling in their respective fields. In 2015, Alaina authored her first book, Behind Church Doors: Overcoming Church Hurt, a memoir detailing her painful experiences as the wife of a pastor. Alaina hopes to use those experiences to help women overcome adversities in their relationships, careers, and religious journey
