Born June 20, 1956, James knew what it was like growing up with a single mom and being supported with public aid. He grew up with little money, being teased by his peers for what he didn’t have. He quickly learned he had the gift of making people laugh with him and not at him, gaining their respect.
After dropping out of high school at the age of eighteen due to family problems, he joined the U.S. Army and became a paratrooper.
After he was released, he met the love of his life and was married at the age of twenty-five. His wife gave and showed him all things Love that he didn’t know growing up. After joining the Apostolic Faith and with the help of God, the two have become strong leaders in the fight to uphold the unity of marriage. They believe that whatever God has for you starts with the family.
