Marie-Deon was born in Pontiac, Michigan, and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. Though her passion in entomology was a lifelong dream, reading and writing were also among her favorites. At the early age of five she began writing poems, short stories, and music; the majority of her downtime was spent reading, or out enjoying nature. This led to a life full of science fiction and magic. In 2012 she was blessed with a beautiful daughter who brought much more magic to her life. She also shares a love for literature and nature. Most of their bonding time is spent reading at the library or outside. Then in 2018 she married and was surprised with the news of twins! After time has passed, she plans on traveling to Australia, Greece, and Brazil. These are all places she believes are filled with magic, and she will explore many more destinations as she grows. One of her favorite sayings is “The world is much too big to stay in one place forever.”
