Melissa Seal is a U.S. Army veteran who currently still serves her country as a member of the Virginia Army National Guard. After twenty-two years of honorable service, she has decided to finally write her first book. Although Melissa is a first-time author, she plans to continue writing with a second and third follow-up to the Tween Chronicles. She resides in Courtland, Virginia, with her multitalented daughter, who helped write this book. When she’s not writing or being a soldier, she is most likely playing chauffeur to her daughter

Olivia Seal is ten years old and is a rising fifth grader. Like her mom, she is a first-time co-author, and she plans to continue helping her mom on the next two Tween Chronicles. The main character in this book is based on Olivia and her AWESOME mom, along with her great and goofy cast of friends. Olivia enjoyed working on this book and looks forward to some new adventures as she grows from a tween to a teen.
