A bicycle adventure along the Camino de Santiago, undertaken in 1982, long before the current revival and infrastructure was developed that has made the old medieval pilgrimage trail such a popular modern travel destination. Jennifer set off one spring day from Ireland on her black Puch bicycle, not entirely certain where she was going, knowing only that her destination was Santiago de Compostela in Spain. The book narrates her travel experiences and more. After completing the Pilgrimage Jennifer found that the life lessons learned remained with her. In 2009 she longed to return to do the pilgrimage again, but life circumstances would not allow. This is a story of how she was able to integrate the pilgrimage experience in her own daily life using “relics” from her original journey as touchstones. As on the original pilgrimage, Jennifer discovered that she had some life lessons to learn and some spiritual readjustments to make. The most important- just do what you are called to do and it all works out in the end.
